Meet faith borland, mswi
Faith Borland, MSWi, is a therapist-in-training at Hearten House offering collaborative, trauma-informed care for young adults, queer individuals, and those healing from complex trauma. With a grounding in CBT, DBT, ACT, SFBT, and the Trauma Recovery and Empowerment Model (TREM), Faith helps participants move beyond survival and reclaim their sense of self through compassion, curiosity, and empowerment.
Growing up queer in a conservative town and surviving multiple traumas herself, Faith understands what it means to create healing community from scratch. Her personal journey fuels her professional mission: to help others feel safe in their bodies, held in their identities, and confident in their ability to grow. She brings warmth, realness, and a deep respect for participants' stories—offering a space where judgment is replaced with affirmation and fear with possibility.
Faith specializes in working with young adults, trauma survivors, and LGBTQIA+ individuals. She is certified in TREM for both women’s and LGBTQIA+ support groups and believes in co-creating empowered paths forward with every participant she meets. Whether you're exploring your identity, rebuilding after trauma, or simply needing someone to hold space for your truth, Faith is here to walk beside you.
When she’s not in session, you might find Faith soaking up sun like a sunflower, reading fantasy novels in a local coffee shop, or stitching gnome embroidery as part of her own mindfulness practice.
“We may not always be able to fix what hurts—but we can face it together, with honesty, humor, and heart.”
