The world outside is pure chaos. We get it. Every day can feel like a whole new challenge from the moment we get up to the moment we put our phones down to try and sleep. The never-ending news cycle of doom, gloom, and (let’s face it) trauma. The onslaught is exhausting and can lead to burnout faster than ice cream melting in mid July. Meaning-making can help us work through the deluge of information to find relevance, create purpose, and develop plans.
At Hearten House, we aim to guide you to create your own meaning-making for daily living, big changes and small ones. We hold a space for active learning and engaging with problem-solving skills, developing curiosity and a sense of self.
What is Meaning Making?
Meaning-making is the process of how people construe, understand, or make sense of life events, relationships, and the self. Most often, we search for meaning after the loss of loved ones, but we can use meaning-making in our day-to-day lives as well!
