Ben Tate

Meet Ben Tate, MSWi

Ben Tate is a therapist-in-training who brings a calm, compassionate presence to his work with teens and adults navigating life’s complexities. Currently completing his Master of Social Work at the University of Utah, Ben offers trauma-informed, affirming care that centers each person’s lived experience, autonomy, and resilience.

Ben is passionate about helping individuals exploring their identity, and people processing grief, trauma, or major life transitions. Grounded in a relational and strengths-based approach, he creates space for clients to feel seen, safe, and deeply supported in their self-discovery.

Ben’s clinical perspective is informed by an anti-oppressive lens and a strong commitment to emotional justice. His work is collaborative, curious, and rooted in the belief that therapy can be both liberating and transformative—an invitation to reconnect with who you are and where you’re going.

Outside of the therapy room, Ben is often tending to his garden, exploring creative expression, or spending time with chosen family. His gentle humor, thoughtful insight, and deep empathy make him a steady companion for those doing courageous inner work.
