  • Embracing Transition and Change

  • Boundaries and Assertiveness: Self-Advocacy and Relationships

  • Crafting out Future: Goal-Setting and Integration

  • Celebrating, Reflecting, and Moving Forward

Hearten House Group Therapy: A More Effective Approach

Life can be chaotic, and we all seek connection, understanding, and effective tools to navigate its complexities. At Hearten House, we welcome every part of you—especially ones that might feel messy.

Forget the staid group therapy sessions you've seen on TV. In this uniquely crafted experience, we focus on embodied action, role theory, and expressive methods. This is your dynamic playground to delve into your core identity and potential.

We’ll go beyond clinical approaches to encourage real healing and transformation. You're more than a diagnosis or a checklist of symptoms. Healing at Hearten House transcends the clinical—it's embodied, holistic, practical, and deeply personal.

What, Who, When, and Where

A closed group means that we'll have the same people week-to-week to foster safety and trust in the group dynamic.

Our Master of Social Work student intern Sarah Morris, MSWi, will be facilitating this group with Aimee Hadfield and as usual, we'll be using embodied experiential, action, and expressive group psychotherapy methods to guide you on this part of your well-being adventure.

This group may be for you if you have experience with therapy and want to practice putting the changes you’ve made into action in your life.

  • Dates: February 21 - April 10, 2024

  • Time: Weekly on Wednesdays, 5:30–8:00 PM

  • Location: Hearten House, Salt Lake City, Utah
