Hearten House: the leading experiential therapy center in the Mountain West, and a multi-modal hub for healing™ in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City.

A hub for healing.

  • Experiential Therapy

Hearten House is the leading experiential therapy center in the Intermountain West. Designed by experiential therapist Aimee Clements-Hadfield, LCSW, CET2, Hearten House is the first space in her reimagining mental health care℠ and the spaces it happens in. Healing happens best in the right space: Nearly half of our 5000-square-foot loft is a gathering space where people can hang out and wait for appointments, or take some time to relax and center after sessions. There are art supplies, books, and snacks, and even a cozy corner with a sofa, a soft rug, and lots of plush friends. It’s not uncommon to see practitioners connecting and collaborating over coffee, or patrons doing homework at the kitchen table while waiting on their companions who are in sessions.

Here, too, Aimee conducts experiential therapy intensives to help folks heal.

  • We Make Space for Well-Being™

Because there is no single way to heal, we “make space for well-being™” by helping our community access several different types of healing in a warm, inviting space.

As part of Hearten House’s mission to reimagine mental health care℠, this both increases access to mental health and whole-person wellbeing for patrons, and supports select small business owners/practices by providing flexible, affordable office space.

Our philosophy is guided by trauma-informed principles as set out by SAMHSA.

We currently have limited space with our flexible, by-the-hour/part-time packages for use of our private offices. If you’re a qualified well-being professional, click “request a tour’ below to schedule an appointment to see the space, learn more, and apply.

  • Training & Events

Hearten House has space to do big things. Part of building a community around wellbeing is sharing knowledge and having space to gather and learn. The gathering space at Hearten House allows us to be able to host trainings, workshops, and conferences for up to 100 attendees. On occasion, we also host community and non-profit events. (Contact us using the mail link in the upper right corner menu for more info about hosting your event at Hearten House).
